274 Her husband Radovan Popovic went to America and it was thought for a long time that he died there like Simo did.

Vaso Sukunda however claims that he returned from America and died in the Jasenovac concentration camp. However, he doesn't seem to be on the victim’s list.

There are two people on the list with the same name but from another village and too young to be Milka’s husband.
MEDJED, Milka (I253)

275 High possibility that he is the same as I848 due to Ellis Island records. However there were a few Adams at this stage and the marriage certificate and census indicates different ages, so perhaps not. SUKUNDA, Mr. Adam (I2189)

276 His birth certificate had him listed as Jovo. On the Trnovac tree they had him written as Jovan.

Chances are that Jovan is his actual full-name, but I've included it as a nickname as the birth certificate is the official document.

277 His date of birth from the Mali Gradac records is different to those listed in the US, however, his US dates fluctuate though it is the same person.

A little over two months ago, Dr. Luis Guillermo Martinez Bustmanete, known by his close friends and family as Memo, had his life sadly cut short. He was murdered while at work at the Izola General Hospital in Slovenia.

Born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, Guillermo was introduced to the world of medicine from a young age; his mother was a nurse, his father and uncle both doctors. While studying at the Universidad Autnoma de Nuevo Len, he joined IFMSA, with the hope of representing Mexican medical students on the world stage. His involvement, dedication, and skills would later see him serving as IFMSA’s Secretary General in 2003, overseeing the work from the Geneva office. During that year, he met Dr. Masa Sukunda, a student from Slovenia, who was the Federation’s publications director at the time, and who would turn out to be his future wife.
Guillermo moved to Slovenia, where he worked with the Institute of Public Health prior to entering the postgraduate medical system. He completed his training in urology in 2013, having rotated in several hospitals in Slovenia, Italy and Spain. He served as secretary of the European Society of Residents in Urology and was a board member of the Young Urologists Office.
At 36 years, Guillermo died too soon. With his passing, we have lost a true leader and an inspiration. He will forever be missed by family, friends, and colleagues all around the world. IFMSA would like to extend the deepest condolences to Guillermo’s family; we will find ways to keep his memory alive, hoping his work will inspire medical students to become well-rounded physicians, committing themselves to better health for all.

287 I believe this date of birth is a placeholder as a lot of them at the time were estimates (ex. how old are you) rather than his actual DOB. SUKUNDA, Mr. Milos (I2345)

288 I found out through Cenagdzija/Prodanovic family in Australia that the mother of Miladin Prodanovic (you updated his spouse Mileva Sukunda just now) is Savka Medjed. And Savka Medjed is the sister of my great grandmother Stevanija (married to Sretko Cenagdzija). So Stevanija is Medjed as well.  Medjed, Savka (I4652)

290 I found out through Cenagdzija/Prodanovic family in Australia that the mother of Miladin Prodanovic (you updated his spouse Mileva Sukunda just now) is Savka Medjed. And Savka Medjed is the sister of my great grandmother Stevanija (married to Sretko Cenagdzija). So Stevanija is Medjed as well.  Medjed, Mrs. Stevanija (I1617)

291 I have a sneaking suspicion that this family/couple might be the same as the Mihaljo / Manda family who had a Dragutin. Replacement naming wasn't unusual for this period, it seems.

Left them as a separate until I can confirm.
Family: Mr. Mihaljo SUKUNDA / Mrs. Mioljka FIND OUT (F245)

292 I think it's logical that this Nikola that had children is the same as the Nikola who married Ilinka Metikos.

They both have 38 Brezovo Polje as their address, Nikola has been previously married as according to his record, and the last child, Milka, that he had with Evica, was two years prior to this marriage, so it seems perfectly logical that this is correct.
SUKUNDA, Mr. Nikola (I780)

293 Immigrated to the US on 28 Apr 1913 Sukunda, Mr. Djuro (I3844)

294 immigration 5/6/1920 Ellis Island, NY City. Ship Lapland, lived Veldstraat 152 Temse PEIFFER, Mr. Gerard (I1082)

295 Immigration to US 1922 RADANICH, Mrs. Drena (I1899)

296 In her husband Larry's obituary, she is listed as Janet (Betcher) Myres. Unsure if Betcher is her maiden name and she was married previously as Myres, or the other way around (or not at all). BETCHER, Mrs. Janet (I2621)

297 In the Trnovac book, he is not linked to Stojan and Kata, however the Trnovac year of birth matches my exact DOB, which also lists Stojan and Kata at the right address as the parents of Simo. SUKUNDA, Mr. Simo (I831)

298 Inscription on his tombstone tells us that Ratko migrated to the USA on September 13, 1971 Medjed, Ratko (I4025)

299 It seems Sretko Cenagdzija and Stojan Sukunda were two best friends. They both fell in love with Savka. Sretko was the first to ask her to marry him and she said yes. They had twins first. They died.

Sretko was summoned to the army. When he returned there was no connection for the train and he slept outside. He got an infection on the lungs, high fever and died.
CENAGDZIJA, Mr. Sretko (I173)

300 It was Yanko jr and Beverly that lived in Florida. She died first of cancer and her daughter took John in till he died a year later. SUKUNDA, Yanko Jr. (I1906)
