	Father was christened vaskrsije but all his documents passports etc are in the name of VASO "He spent I think 9/12 months in jail because he tried to skip the border to Austria illegally. It would be another 2 years after that when he tried again this time with the whole family. And some 10 other people, that time successfully, mind you he spent some more jail time in Austria, one of my earliest memories of that time was visiting him in jail while mother and I and the other women stayed in camps ? I can remember the bunks we slept on. My other earliest memory is getting a white type of pudding on the aeroplane we travelled in to Australia. The reason I remember that is the really nasty foul tasting Tom Piper plastic bleehhhhhh cherry that was on top. Considering I knew what cherry?s tasted like and they were my favourite as a child (I used to call them ?lame) that poor excuse for a cherry tasted nothing like a cherry will never taste anything like a cherry and I still hate the taste today. My father recalls going to the Victoria Market when we finally left the camp at Bonegilla near Geelong and hiding me behind his back when I saw ?lame on a stand, because we couldn?t afford to buy them." - Stojan Sukunda
